Beautiful antique porcelain ladies boudoir dresser set. Consists of five pieces: lidded hair receiver, covered powder bowl, and tray. All are handsomely decorated with purple flowers and green leaves, perhaps pansies, and signed by the artist, Arnold, in the corner of the tray.
The tray measures 11 & 1/4" by 8 & 1/4", the two bowls are about 5" wide and 2" high with an 3 & 1/2" opening and the lids are 4 & 1/2" across and 1" high.
The maker of this set is marked on the back, PT & Co./Bavaria. I believe this was a factory blank that was imported by department stores here in the US, at the turn of the century, which young ladies of the time would purchase to hand paint.
It has a sweet note on the back of the tray that reads “Gifted to Anna Nov 1913”
Small chip on underneath of tray, otherwise excellent condition
